Morning Transfer to Mount Jungfrau
Our tour begins as your private driver collects you from your accommodation to travel together towards the Jungfrau region.
Popular places to begin your Mount Jungfrau exploration include:
Grindelwald
Cogwheel Train Experience to Kleine Scheidegg
Prepare to begin your ascent via rail at Kleine Scheidegg, the serene meadow at the base of the towering Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks.
This mountain railway winds its way up through lush Alpine forests and past cascading waterfalls. As the train climbs higher, the landscape opens up to reveal breathtaking panoramas of snow-capped mountains and rugged cliffs.
Kleine Scheidegg serves as the junction for adventurers heading towards the Jungfraujoch, but it’s also a destination in its own right, offering cozy mountain restaurants and stunning hiking trails.
Your private guide will share fascinating insights into the region’s history and geology, making your journey to Kleine Scheidegg an unforgettable part of your Swiss Alps adventure.
Jungfrau Railway to the Summit
At Kleine Scheidegg, we transfer to the Jungfrau Railway as you head straight into the heart of the Swiss Alps, culminating in the majestic Jungfraujoch, famously known as the “Top of Europe.”
As the train ascends through the mountain’s core, you’ll be treated to the awe-inspiring sight of the Eigerwand and Eismeer stations, where panoramic windows offer a glimpse into the Alpine wilderness’s frozen heart.
Arrival at Jungfraujoch
Once you arrive at Jungfraujoch, take your time to absorb the panoramic views from the Sphinx Observatory, one of the highest astronomical observatories in the world.
Explore the Ice Palace, a collection of ice sculptures carved into the glacier. Other attractions include the Alpine Sensation, a tribute to the railway’s history, and the Snow Fun Park, where you can try snow tubing, skiing, or snowboarding.
We will also make lunch reservations for you at one of the restaurants with a view of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps.
Jungfraujoch Hiking Trails
After consulting with you to determine your hiking abilities, we can arrange a short hike tailored to your mobility and experience along the well-marked trails around the Jungfraujoch.
We will discuss with you in advance if you would like tickets for the descent via the cable car and railway used on the way up or if you would like a guide to accompany you on the trek back to Kleine Scheidegg.
Evening Return
Upon arrival at the foot of the mountain, your private driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your accommodation in the evening.
