Old Town Exploration

Lucerne Lion Monument

The Lion Monument in Lucerne stands as a tribute to the Swiss Guards who were massacred during the French Revolution.

Lake Lucerne Boat Experience

Our next destination is Lake Lucerne, where you can take to the water for a boating experience. The gentle lapping of the water merges with breathtaking Alpine vistas to create a serene journey. 

As the boat glides across the crystalline waters, iconic landmarks like the Chapel Bridge and the grandeur of Mount Pilatus come into view, framed by the expansive sky. The shoreline is dotted with historic castles and charming Swiss chalets, their stories interwoven with the very essence of the nation’s identity.

This private tour was simply outstanding from beginning to end - we did a day tour. Marc (our guide) was very knowledgeable about Lucerne and the surrounding areas as well as the history of Switzerland. We did a day tour which included various stops in villages and areas off the beaten track together with food - for example, at one stop we had raclette and at another on a mountain a BBQ. The food was all local, fresh and very tasty (including home made biscuits)! Marc was also very personable, friendly and really contributed towards making our time in Lucerne one of the best short trips we've ever undertaken. Highly recommended. Thank you!
