Our Story As Swiss Travel Experts
Private Tours Switzerland was formed from the confluence of our two co-founders, Marc and Joshua.
Initially meeting as enemies on the Hockey field as teenagers, the pair soon became fast friends as they developed a shared appetite for exploration and discovery throughout Switzerland that has seen them experience trekking routes across the Bernese Oberland, sledding in the Swiss Alps, Hang Gliding over Interlaken, and everything in between.
As such, forming a travel company that would allow them to create just these types of unforgettable experiences for others was the logical next step, and their first enterprise was born, “My Swiss Panorama” in 2019. As that operation blossomed, Marc and Josh expanded their expertise over the entire length and breadth of Switzerland, getting to know the intricacies and hidden gems of each region.
This brings us to 2024 and the formation of “Private Tours Switzerland.” We put our identity in our name and are proud to provide the finest local guides and luxury vehicles across every Canton and location in Switzerland for the ultimate private tour experience.

This private tour was simply outstanding from beginning to end - we did a day tour. Marc (our guide) was very knowledgeable about Lucerne and the surrounding areas as well as the history of Switzerland. We did a day tour which included various stops in villages and areas off the beaten track together with food - for example, at one stop we had raclette and at another on a mountain a BBQ. The food was all local, fresh and very tasty (including home made biscuits)! He took me to the most beautiful towns and we saw farm animals like goats and cows. He also took me to this wonderful waterfall and incredible towns where the scenery is breathtaking! He even took me to the mountains where I was able to get the best Swiss cheese that we used for a traditional Swiss lunch.
