Some friends and I have booked a private day tour to the Lauterbrunnen area with Private Tours Switzerland. This was literally one of the best experiences I have ever made. Not only was the view just stunning - I have never seen mountains this high and Murren was too cute - but also our guide was amazing. She knew so much about the Swiss history and the different places we have visited. I felt like I could ask her anything and she has had known the answer. I can not recommend this tour with Private Tours Switzerland enough!! This tour has made my trip!

This private tour was simply outstanding from beginning to end - we did a day tour. Marc (our guide) was very knowledgeable about Lucerne and the surrounding areas as well as the history of Switzerland. We did a day tour which included various stops in villages and areas off the beaten track together with food - for example, at one stop we had raclette and at another on a mountain a BBQ. The food was all local, fresh and very tasty (including home made biscuits)! Marc was also very personable, friendly and really contributed towards making our time in Lucerne one of the best short trips we've ever undertaken. Highly recommended. Thank you!

I spent an amazing time on the Private Day Tour from Zurich with Marc who was showing Switzerland with such passion that make you really love this country! Apart from showing Swiss Villages and Farmhouses, Marc showed some hidden hiking ways that lead you to amazing lakes that during winter are covered with snow and that made me so mesmerized! Marc was well prepared for our tour, he really knows a lot about his home and it was a pleasure to spend my time with him. Had a wonderful day with Marc as we toured hidden gems. Each location was beautiful and we had perfect views and hikes tailored for our family of 5. Great day tour! Marc picked our family of four up from the Zurich airport during a long 12 hour layover for a day tour of the sights. We went to many great lesser known hidden gems and views! This included the amazing country side with cows/sheep, cheese factory, William Tell, great picnic with raclette, and waterfalls!. This was the best trip ever! Marc is such a great tour guide. He knows all about the history of Switzerland and takes you to the most beautiful secret places not even most locals know about. He took me to the most beautiful towns and we saw farm animals like goats and cows. He also took me to this wonderful waterfall and incredible towns where the scenery is breathtaking! He even took me to the mountains where I was able to get the best Swiss cheese that we used for a traditional Swiss lunch. He found the perfect spot for a picnic and brought fresh fruit from a local farm and it was the best I’ve ever had! He even brought me a special birthday cake.
